Major Gifts Seminar

Scouters, Scouting families, and friends who support Scouting do so because they believe in the values that countless youth develop through our programs. They share our vision of character, citizenship, leadership, and personal fitness built in the Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Exploring, Learning for Life, and Venturing programs. Topics include, but are not limited to: Local council strategies for building a major gifts program, Charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and charitable lead trusts, Donor cultivation and education, Investment management and council trust funds, and the ethics of planned giving. For Council VPs for Fund Development, Endowment Chairman, Capital Campaign Chairmen and committee members, Development Directors, and Scout Executives.
