COPE Director Certification

This is a National Camping School COPE Directors course designed for those who will be leading COPE (challenge course) programs. This course includes initiative games, spotted challenge course elements (Low COPE), challenge course elements using life-safety systems (High COPE), bouldering, and climbing/ rappelling activities using constructed facilities. Current COPE Directors are welcome to attend to further their knowledge and renew their certificate of training. Requirements: Participants must be in good physical condition. This course will include evening sessions, so participants will have limited time with family members. BSA Annual Health and Medical Record – parts A, B, and C are required.
