The Western Region is hosting a special training conference at the Philmont Training Center. This conference will focus on recruiting youth in new ways by addressing the needs of contemporary families, alternative fundraising opportunities beyond FOS or special events, developing and managing top level boards, and challenging and stimulating our Council and District Key 3’s as well as our Council Board Members and District Committee Members.
The week will offer dynamic keynote speakers on each of the key focus areas, alternative tracks to concentrate on the Key 3, Board and District committee perspectives and challenges, and opportunities for councils to meet daily to discuss from various viewpoints how they can implement and apply new ideas in their home districts and councils.
