Philmont Scout Ranch is open year-round for visitors to walk through Base Camp, visit our Museums, or shop at the award-winning Tooth of Time Traders. Take in views of the Tooth of Time and if you’re lucky, you’ll spot some deer and other wildlife roaming around. Be prepared for a variety of weather conditions depending on the time of year you plan your visit (sunshine, clouds, wind, rain, and snow). If you’re passing by Philmont anytime of the year, whether it be summer, fall, winter, or spring, please don’t hesitate to stop by and say “Hello!”
