Whether you want the ever-popular Adult-only Trek or you plan on bringing the troop, Fall is the supreme backdrop for fellowship & solitude among friends & family. Relax at a backcountry camp with a multiday extended stay or pack light trek around
the ranch.

ARROWHEAD & TRIPLE CROWN QUALIFIER – Completing a Fall Trek earns the distinguished Arrowhead Award and qualifies for Scouting America Triple Crown Award advancement. This strenuous trek will satisfy those who aspire to achieve these landmark awards and is perfect for schools with a fall break.
Casita Camping Package
This new program allows for crews to camp in the comfort of backcountry cabins and still enjoy the variety of autumn adventure programs during the day. Indoor programs, specialty meals, extra comfort and more are a part of this unique package.
Autumn Adventure is open to crews of 5 to 12 participants accompanied by an Autumn Adventure guide in the backcountry. Larger groups will be organized into multiple crews (approval required).

This packing list will help prepare you and your crew for your Autumn Adventure trek.
The Tooth of Time Traders at Camping Headquarters is open from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. 7 days a week, so crews can purchase last-minute camping gear or souvenirs after returning from the trail.
Sessions are available from early September to late October each year. Reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis the November of the year prior.
By registering one to two years in advance, crews give themselves the best chance to secure their preferred trek dates and allows ample time for fundraising, physical conditioning, leadership development, and shakedown hikes to ensure everyone is ready for the challenge of the Philmont.
Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of non-refundable deposit of $500 per crew and a completed reservation form. The balance of fees are due upon arrival at Philmont.
